Máximo Laura is a distinguished Peruvian tapestry artist whose work has captivated art enthusiasts worldwide. Born in Ayacucho, Peru, Laura displayed an early fascination with textile art. He pursued his passion by studying at the School of Fine Arts in Lima, where he honed his skills in weaving and developed a unique style that blends traditional Peruvian textile techniques with contemporary artistic expression.
Founded and directed by Hugo Romero Quevedo, this group of artists, selected through a meticulous process, becomes part of the cast and hones their skills in dance, acting, and singing. Their aim is to create top-notch artistic proposals and performances that convey the essence of our national dance throughout Peru and the world. In doing so, they promote our customs, traditions, and national identity.
Marino Martinez holds a degree in Artistic Education and has completed master's studies in Anthropology at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Additionally, they are a musician and teacher graduated from the José María Arguedas National Higher School of Folklore.
